At Rise House, volunteers are a critical to ensure our operations run smoothly.
One of many opportunities that we have at our shelter are Support Group Facilitator Volunteers. Rise House tries to have different groups during the week that are focused on helping residents heal and moving them towards independence . Groups are held Monday through Thursday from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
The staff that facilitate these groups love to have community members participate and share information and skills that they have with our residents. Or you could host a group yourself!

Rise provides a promise of hope and a haven of safety for adults and children seeking relief from domestic abuse.
Description
Since 1995, Rise has advocated for and assisted survivors of family violence and sexual assault in the central Arkansas area. Our goal is to help each person who comes to our door rise up from the threat of domestic and sexual violence. We provide outreach services including emergency shelter, food, clothing, legal advocacy, and crisis counseling.
At Rise, we support equality among all people, knowing that social change and acceptance is just as important as a safe place to lay your head while you heal.
