We're looking for a volunteer (this is an unpaid opportunity) who wants to help senior shelter foster dogs get noticed and adopted. You'll be managing the foster dog portfolio of dogs we help through marketing, supplies and medical management. This opportunity is through an advocacy, Classic Canines, and our advocacy benefits Austin Animal Center and to a smaller degree, a few other area shelters.

What's needed?

---Prior experience as a dog foster-or- has been in a marketing capacity of foster or shelter dogs previously
---Senior dog compassionate--this is a must, we only work with dogs 7 years and up
---Must be community-minded--adoptions occur with a wide range of community citizens
---Must adhere to all protocols and privacy and use of data policies
---Team work - will work with volunteers, fosters and possibly shelter staff
---Use of Google products (Drive, Slideshows)
---FB and IG posts and responses
---Volunteer should be within easy driving range of Austin for when the shelter re-opens, there will be some tasks onsite

A typical day:
---Update master list of foster dog inventory changes
---Reach out to new fosters to provide support and request photos and dog bios
---Review marketing collateral of foster dogs and collect updates as needed and submit those for update to the shelter system through pre-established protocols for update
---May be responsible for posting dogs needing foster on FB & IG
---May be responsible for posting foster dogs awaiting adoption on FB & IG
---May be responsible for collecting post-adoption updates to share on FB & IG
---May be responsible for checking post tags and sharing foster posts
---Gather requests for supplies from fosters and arrange supplies and how to get them to foster
