Mission Statement

Beacon Arts (formerly ROCKiT Community Arts) is a non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing the arts in the Beacon Hill Neighborhood in a sustainable manner.

Beacon Arts develops venues and organizational support for events and programs.

Beacon Arts empowers artistic growth on an individual and community level that embraces and reflects the diverse culture of Beacon Hill.

Description

Beacon Arts is an all volunteer community of artists and musicians that facilitate 11 programs in the Beacon Hill neigborhood of Seattle, WA.

We produce several music events: Beacon Rocks! outdoor summer music series, Monthly Folk Club & Garden House Blues, Tots Jam weekly music for families. Other monthly events: Beacon Bards Poetry Readings, Songwriters Circle and many others.

We develop programing according to community input and available resources and partnerships with many other neighborhood non-profits and business partners.
