Digital Membership Volunteer
The Digital Membership Volunteer will work with our Development and Marketing teams in the planning and practice of our SFJAZZ Digital membership program. Volunteers will help build our data warehouse and develop the overall strategy for the growth of the SFJAZZ Digital program, as well as share in building a solid understanding of best practices and new strategies for audience development and fundraising in the digital programming space.
SFJAZZ is one of the world’s most popular presenters of jazz. The SFJAZZ Center is a beautiful stage for jazz artists and the community to celebrate the living American art form of jazz. Our 37-year-old non-profit organization crafts distinguished programming and education services from the heart of the San Francisco arts district. In March 2020, SFJAZZ launched its initial digital offering Fridays at Five and plans to expand the SFJAZZ Digital membership experience in 2021.

SFJAZZ is a not-for-profit organization devoted to jazz, an American art form with origins in the African-American community and with an appeal that now extends throughout the world. SFJAZZ encourages the growth of jazz and jazz audiences through concert and educational programs in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond, celebrating jazz as a living art built on a constantly evolving tradition.
Founded in 1983, SFJAZZ creates, presents, and develops audiences for the full spectrum of jazz, from the music’s origins in the Caribbean Basin and the African American community to its diverse present-day expressions around the world, celebrating jazz as a constantly evolving tradition. SFJAZZ has transformed from a cultural nomad, presenting jazz in various venues around the San Francisco Bay Area, into an established advocate for the art form, and with 450 concerts in a typical year, the largest nonprofit presenter of jazz in the United States. The SFJAZZ Center serves as a convening place for nearly 200,000 constituents each year, making up an open, ever-changing, and diverse community for the appreciation, education, and presentation of jazz in all its forms.
SFJAZZ serves thousands of adults and youth in communities across the Bay Area with a dynamic and innovative array of educational programs in the concert hall, classroom, and community. We provide rich, innovative, interactive, and informative programming in jazz appreciation, creation, and performance within our diverse communities.
