Deliver Groceries To Seniors
Spend your time in a meaningful way by helping to deliver groceries to seniors through Help At Your Door! Volunteers will pick up completed grocery orders from our grocery partner in either St Anthony or Bloomington, and spend an hour or two delivering to clients around the Twin Cities metro area. Volunteers will not need to handle any payment information.
Grocery pick-ups are scheduled for weekday mornings at 9:30 a.m. with an (approximate) 1.5 hour time commitment. Ongoing weekly volunteers are desired. Physical ability to regularly lift and carry bags of groceries is required.
In service since 1984, this program has been increasingly in demand since the pandemic began. Most of Help At Your Door's clients are seniors and are especially vulnerable to the effects of the virus. Your volunteer work helps to keep them safe and well-fed at home.

Help At Your Door provides our clients with the services and resources necessary to remain vivacious and supported in life, while also providing families with the knowledge and security to ensure that their home is the best place for them to be. Volunteers provide grocery ordering and shopping services, handyman help, transportation, and chore services.
