Join our fun and active Volunteer Management Committee as we help the Beaverton Downtown Association make a difference in Historic Downtown Beaverton.

Role Description
Tracking organization wide engagement in a centralized fashion allows the organization to develop tools to support leadership and volunteers. As a non-profit, volunteers are our greatest asset. We want them to feel valued, heard, and seen. We want them to be connected to how their work is impacting our mission. We want them to enjoy the contributions we are asking them to make.

Tasks
Support check-ins twice annually
Facilitate follow-ups and distribute reports
Guide annual Summer Social
Support annual Volunteer Recognition Ceremony
Tracking:
Number of active volunteers
Number of volunteers archived
Number of event registrations
Number of total volunteer hours

The BDA's mission is to promote the preservation, history, culture, architecture, and public use of Beaverton's traditional downtown area.

Description

We seek to enhance our community identity and foster a center of activity and economic vitality for the heart of Beaverton. We do this through four primary points of emphasis

1) Promotion: Planning events that draw people in to downtown and promoting how exciting Beaverton really is. We are not a suburb!
2) Design: Improving the design of our downtown community.
3) Economic Vitality: Supporting local business growth, expansion, and recruitment.
4) Organizational Health: Fundraising, developing partnerships, and supporting a strong organization through internal processes.
