ORGANIZATION: COALITION OF VETERANS ORGANIZATIONS

  • 11 people are interested

MANY VETERANS,ESPECIALLY IN THESE COVID DAYS, FEEL ISOLATED,LONELY,CONFUSED, AND DEPRESSED AND THEY DON'T KNOW WHERE TO TURN FOR EVEN THE MOST BASIC ASSISTANCE.

A GOOD NUMBER OF THESE FORGOTTEN AND UNSEEN HEROES ARE OLD AND IN POOR HEALTH. IT IS HARD FOR THEM TO GET AROUND FOR THE MOST BASIC OF CHORES ESPECIALLY WHEN IT IS COLD OR HOT OUTSIDE. IT IS EASY FOR THEM TO PERCEIVE LIFE AS MEANINGLESS AND HOPELESS.

CVO IS ESTABLISHING CVAC - THE CITIZEN'S VETERANS ADVOCACY CORPS TO ADDRESS THE NEEDS OF THESE VETERANS WHO HAVE FALLEN THROUGH THE CRACKS OF OUR HEALTHCARE SYSTEM SO THEY MAY RESTORE A DEGREE OF DIGNITY TO THEIR LIVES AND MAINTAIN THE QUALITY OF LIFE THAT THEY SO TRULY DESERVE.

WON'T YOU CONSIDER JOINING OUR NEW MOVEMENT BY VOLUNTEERING A FEW HOURS A MONTH TO LEND A HAND TO OUR FORGOTTEN HEROES. A LITTLE KINDNESS CAN GO A LONG WAY IN MAKING LIFE A LOT BETTER FOR OUR FELLOW AMERICANS.
