COALITION OF VETERANS ORGANIZATIONS
AMERICA'S CHURCHES HAVEN'T BEEN VERY CROWDED OF LATE BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THEY DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO TO BETTER THE LIVES OF THEIR CONGREGATIONS. ON THE CONTRARY, THEY HAVE EVEN MORE TO DO IN ORDER TO ENRICH THEIR MEMBERS SPIRITUALLY AND MATERIALLY.
EVERY CONGREGATION HAS A GOOD NUMBER OF HEROIC AND OFTEN FORGOTTEN VETERAN FAMILIES IN ITS MIDST WHO MAY FEEL ISOLATED, HURTING, AND UNAPPRECIATED. SOME ARE INFLICTED WITH MORAL INJURY.
IF YOUR CHURCH, TEMPLE OR SYNAGOGUE DOES NOT RECOGNIZE ITS VETERANS AND PUTS THEM IN TOUCH WITH ONE ANOTHER AND THEIR FELLOW MEMBERS IN FAITH, IT IS NOT TOO LATE. IT IS NOT COMPLICATED OR COSTLY TO DO SO AND IT CAN REAP A GREAT HARVEST OF SOULS.
CVO IS LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS TO ACT AS MISSIONARIES OF FAITH WITHIN THEIR OWN CONGREGATIONS AND OTHERS IN THEIR NEIGHBORHOOD SHOWING THEM HOW BRING VETERAN FAMILIES TOGETHER WITHIN THEIR CONFINES AND CONDUCT ACTIVITIES DESIGNED WITH VETERANS IN MIND THAT WILL ENRICH THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR EVERYONE.
