Can You Help a New Mainer Start a Business ?
Right now, New Mainer entrepreneurs are facing unique barriers to business success. At SCORE Maine, we’re working to change that by removing those obstacles and providing immigrant businesses with access to personalized support in our SCORE for All program: to meet business owners where they are and help them reach their business goals.
As a mentor you will use your industry-based knowledge and expertise to help clients solve problems, increase business efficiency, and assist with developing long-term business plans. Mentors often have significant experience within their field, excellent communication skills, and the ability to dedicate a few hours a week.
If you have 10 hours per month and want to share your specialized expertise with a local small business owner, become a SCORE Mentor or Subject Matter Expert.
