We can’t change a foster kid’s past but we can help them to change their story! Become a Court Appointed Special Advocate and you help a foster kid to navigate the foster care system.

The average foster kid changes home and school 7 times during their time as a foster kid. As a CASA, you are the one consistent adult in their lives and with one focus: the best interests of that kid.

We provide:

  • engaging and empowering training (30 hours)
  • a team to offer ongoing support and guidance

Time required:

It takes 8-10 hours a month.

Must be 21 yrs. and pass background check

During COVID:

  • Some at-risk children are not being seen regularly by teachers and other community members so that abuse and neglect might go undetected. CASAs stand in the gap.
  • We observe the CDC guidelines

NEXT VIRTUAL TRAINING IS COMING UP in August 2021
