Alzheimer's isn't stopping. Neither are we. Planning the Walk to End Alzheimer's is a great way to grow your management skills and make a big community impact in a passionate, relentless nonprofit setting. Each year, dozens of volunteers, like you, plan eight Walk to End Alzheimer's events in Oregon & SW Washington to raise critical funds for Alzheimer's disease research, care & support programs, and policy work at the state and federal levels. Your work will support the 5.8 million Americans living with Alzheimer's and the millions more that love, support and care for them. Sponsorship Committee - The Salespeople Your role on the Sponsorship Committee will be to manage relationships with sponsors for Walk to End Alzheimer's Mid-Willamette. You will connect businesses to the cause, manage relationships and provide an exceptional experience for sponsors on event day. The Alzheimer’s Association Oregon & SW Washington Chapter is part of the Alzheimer’s Association, the world's leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research. From its offices in Portland, Bend and Medford, the Oregon Chapter provides education and support for people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, as well as their families and caregivers. In addition, it offers local support groups, early-stage engagement programs, community education classes and a 24/7 Helpline (800-272-3900).
