Restore Our Climate is seeking one or two volunteers to help us with basic accounting and record keeping of our financial transactions. It is our hope that this person will also be interested in and supportive of our mission of reducing atmospheric methane and helping to stave off climate catastrophe. And if this person is enthusiastic enough to commit to a few hours every week for at least a year, then perhaps they will consider being appointed to our Board of Directors and serve as our Treasurer.
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.

Mission Statement
Restore Our Climate's mission is to restore the climate and oceans to pre-industrial life-sustaining health by reducing atmospheric greenhouse gas concentrations and ocean acidity.
Description
Restore Our Climate is an international all-volunteer group of concerned citizens, including scientists, engineers and others, working to develop the science and technology of Iron Salt Aerosols (ISA), a naturally occuring substance that oxidizes methane (CH 4 ) into carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) and water. Our plan is to develop environmentally safe methods of deploying large quantities of ISA into the atmosphere in order to significantly reduce atmospheric CH 4 and thereby help avoid cataclysmic climate change.
We are incorporated in the state of California US as a nonprofit corporation, and plan to apply for federal 501(c)3 status; in the meanwhile we are partnering with Social Good Fund ( socialgoodfund.org ) as our fiscal sponsor, so that donations made to us through SGF are 100% tax-deductible.
We have an 8-member Board of Directors, with 3 officers and several board committees, including our Scientific Advisory Panel, Finance/Fundraising and Communications.
