As a community-supported kitchen and pantry, our mission is to assist the people of the Pajaro Valley with nutritious food, education, and referrals in cooperation with other agencies. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have increased our need for regular volunteers, as many of our former helpers are now sheltering-in-place, while we have simultaneously seen an increase in our community's need for support in getting a healthy meal, as many are experiencing changes in their employment and housing statuses. In this time of increased need, we are looking for help with prepping and cooking in the kitchen for our daily lunch program.

To keep everyone safe, we ask that you please bring your own mask to volunteer and to wear it all times while volunteering. Daily temperature checks for volunteers will also be administered upon arrival.

If you are available, we so look forward to having you! If you don't want to volunteer alone, please invite a friend to come along!

We have been so thankful for the support we have received from our community in the form of volunteer hours and food donations during this difficult time; we always appreciate bringing another member into our PVLF family, and are especially grateful now for your time!
