Since 1967, Alvis has been helping individuals to open doors, rebuild their lives and reconnect with their families and communities. Today, we provide treatment programs to 7,000 individuals, in more than 40 locations throughout Ohio, in two service lines: 1)Programs for individuals and families with criminal justice involvement, and 2)Programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. Our services include cognitive behavioral and trauma informed therapy for issues such as human trafficking and substance abuse; job readiness training and placement assistance; and support programs for children and families. It is our goal to help each of our clients achieve the most successful and meaningful second chance as possible and to support safe and secure communities for us all.
