Moreno Valley Public Library Teen Advisory Board
Moreno Valley Public Library
The Moreno Valley Public Library’s Teen Advisory Board or TAB is a monthly open-forum led by TAB members and employees of the Library where teens & high schoolers discuss issues related specifically to teen use of the library materials and events.
As a TAB member you’ll be committed to creating a youth friendly library by aiding in the availability of popular and relevant media, and planning and implementing active youth programs that are interesting, safe, and fun.
The Library’s purpose for TAB is to build a partnership with the teens in our community while giving them the opportunity to discuss library issues and develop library programs & events. We want every member to have the opportunity to learn how to become an effective leader.
Becoming a TAB member is a three step process that begins with submitting your application (link below), going through an interview, then submitting a City of Moreno Valley volunteer application.
All volunteers are to be 14 years or older, and currently attending a high school or equivalent. TAB Members must agree to three (3) months of service and commit to attending at least three (3) Teen Advisory Board meetings, and three (3) Teen Night events; roughly equating to two (2) meetings per month for three (3) months.
Prospected members of TAB are to submit their application:
