Alzheimer's Association Utah Chapter
The Alzheimer's Association is looking for enthusiastic planning committee members for the 2021 Utah County & Wasatch Back Walks to End Alzheimer's,
We are recruiting marketing volunteers for two different events. One event is the Utah County Walk to End Alzheimer's and the other is the Wasatch Back (Park City) Walk to End Alzheimer's.
If you're interested in either of these positions it is preferable that you live in the county specific to the event. It is not however, mandatory.
The Walk to End Alzheimer's Planning committee is a small but mighty group of energetic go-getters who are passionate about the Alzheimer's Association's mission. The Walk to End Alzheimer's is the Association's largest fundraising event, held nationally in over 600 communities. Our goal is to raise funds to ultimately find a cure for Alzheimer's disease while spreading awareness about the programs and services offered at no charge to the professionals, friends, and families that are already on an Alzheimer's journey. The Walk Planning committee is volunteer lead and staff supported. We have a wonderful event chair in place but are seeking additional individuals interested in leadership roles particularly marketing and team recruitment. A Walk Planning Committee member's activities might include the following:
855 East 4800 South, Suite 100, Salt Lake City, UT 84107, US
Our Mission: To eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. Our Vision: A world without Alzheimer’s.
The Alzheimer's Association is the leading, global voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care and support, and the largest private, nonprofit funder of Alzheimer's research.
The Alzheimer’s Association Utah Chapter has service centers throughout Utah, allowing us to better serve individuals, caregivers and families coping with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders.
We'll work with your schedule.
This is a Virtual Opportunity, with no fixed address.
