Special Blessings is hosting an early Easter event on Saturday, March 6th for the families served by our cause.
Our Families will enjoy this socially distant Easter EGGstravaganza from the safety of their vehicles.
Kids will enjoy this decorated, visually engaging, Bunny trail as they drive-thru with their families. They’ll be excited to see Children’s Stories portrayed along the way AND Thrilled when the Easter Bunny hands them their eggs filled with lots of Goodies!!!
Yes! The Easter Bunny will be there, too!
Interested in being a part of this fun-filled event? Volunteers are welcome to join us. We are looking for individuals (Bring a Friend!) as we guide these families along this path.
You’ll be a part of a children’s story by dressing up as a favorite character and waiving them through.
Volunteers are needed from Noon-5:00 pm and will assist with setup, clean up and by being a part of this Storytelling trail.
We are only looking for 10 individuals, so be sure to register early.

Mission Statement
Special Blessings is a non-profit organization that provides Support, Edcuational, and Fun activities to children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families. Our goal is to educate children, families and volunteers through support group meetings and community inclusion. By providing families with information and knowledge, it will empower them to help their children grow to their fullest potential.
Description
Special Blessings was founded and established by the Executive Director, Roxanna Sinsapaugh.
She was inspired by her own son who was born with a disability.
Roxanne recognized the need to provide an outreach program that provides support, educational, and fun activities to families caring for these special loved ones and to assist with home sponsorship opportunities for adults with disabilities.
Special Blessings opened it’s doors to the community and began offering services in 1997.
Special Blessings offers Support, Educational, and Fun activities for families of children and adults with disabilities. Our Support Group brings "seasoned" parents alongside parents with newly diagnosed or younger children. We occasionally offer workshops that assist parents on their educational journey.
Our Family Fun Days brings families together for activities such as: roller skating, bowling, and park visits. Our families have enjoyed visits to the North Carolina Zoo, Fort Fisher Aquarium, and our horseback riding events.
