Girls in the Game

Since 1995 Girls in the Game's summer programs have provided a vital space for girls to find connection and the opportunity to lead, funded through our annual golf outing. We are looking for dedicated golf outing committee members to help plan and raise funds at this event.

The Chip in for Girls golf outing raises scholarship funds for our summer programs so that all girls can attend no matter their family’s resources; over 90 percent of campers need a scholarship of some kind. Through the outing, we also provide transportation, free lunch and more to participants to keep camp accessible. The golf outing will take place this year on Tuesday, June 22nd at Cantigny Golf in Wheaton. We expect 170+ attendees from the business, construction, health and finance sectors. As a committee member, you play a crucial role in sharing the mission of Girls in the Game to those companies and individuals in your circle to help provide a safe space for girls in Chicago this July, especially as we look to adapt the format of our summer programs to be safe and socially distanced in response to COVID-19.
