You can be a great help during riding lessons by walking along side the horse. Assisting the rider during this time can help them build confidence while they learn as they can focus on the lesson knowing there is someone close by.
Horse Care There’s a lot more than goes on at the farm than just riding lessons and special events! The horses also need special care and you can help us by volunteering for tasks such as bathing a horse and brushing a horse...

Description
As founders of Heart of a Warrior we have been actively involved with local West Licking Special Olympics since 2007. In July of 2018, the Special Olympics USA Games were held in Seattle. Our attendance was a life-changing experience one we will never forget. God put a calling on our lives to stretch ourselves beyond what we felt comfortable with. The opening ceremony was very moving when you truly understand how Special Olympics was founded, in a backyard. A small horse farm had been available for purchase and shortly after the seed was planted, the calling to turn it into a special needs farm possibly more had begun. So many doors have opened in such a short time. We’re excited to see where this journey will take us. Heart of a Warrior Farm is a startup Special Needs Farm aimed to help individuals and organizations with special needs to be able to feel the love from animals in a farm setting.

We are looking for youth to help with stall management and adults that are willing to be part of our lesson plans to either walk beside a rider or to lead a horse during lessons.
To love the outdoors, not be afraid of animals. Enjoy spending time with others and learning.
