Can Drive Recycling Program Volunteer!
ORGANIZATION: Cascade Relief Team Inc
Please visit the new page to apply.
Our non profit who is helping the 2020 Wildfire victims and future victims of natural disasters needs a dedicated individual to help with our can drive program.
This program leader's roll will be to help collect, store, sort (if needed), Aluminum cans, plastic bottles and glass bottles if desired.
We are set up with 2 different bottle drop accounts, the blue bag fundraising account, and the high volume account.
Blue Bag Recycling:
The volunteer can pick up blue bags, distribute blue bags, and then collect the blue bags back full of cans and bottles.
(blue bags can be left at our donation centers for donor pickup, cans and bottles cannot be left at our donation sites)
You as the volunteer can have cans dropped off at your residence or you can pick these bags up, on the day of your choosing. Blue bags (up to 10 a day) can be dropped off at any Oregon Bottle Drop. Up to 50 bags per day can be dropped off by appointment.
The High Volume Recycling:
High volume bags are clear and they are much larger than the blue bag recycling. the high volume bags must be pre sorted, by recyclable type. such as cans only, and bottles only. The high volume recycling has no limit on how many bags that can be recycled. This is by appointment only.
The can recycling program has proven to be a big money earner. We need someone who can take on this role and help us change lives and save lives through recycling.
