Job Title: Pantry Assistant

Purpose: Obtain Client ID and document client's information for donated items. Assist administrative staff as needed.

Location: 1141 E. Jefferson St, Phoenix, Arizona, 85034

Key Responsibilities:

• Document FIBCO Guests who enter the building.
• Assure that guests enter the building with a mask, and are 6 feet in distance from others. (FIBCO, Adheres to CDC compliance -COVID-19)
• Document and distribute St. Mary’s food boxes.
• Assist food pantry and assist with meal distributions
• Assist FIBCO clients with grocery shopping in the emergency food pantry
• Assist with Program Manager with shopping at St. Mary’s Food Bank

Job Requirements

• Commit to the scheduled position
• Carry out required tasks as agreed
• Participate in training and organizational orientations
• Be on time for the requested volunteer opportunity
• Adhere to organizational policies and procedures
• Requires standing, walking, and lifting about 10 lbs.
• 18 or older
• Food Handler Certificate, Complete in-office or obtain online, *Company will reimburse with receipt. Recommend www.efoodcard.com

Reports to: Dorothy Adams

Days Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Fridays

Hours 8am-1pm

Time Commitment: 2-5 Hours

Qualifications: None

Dress Code: Casual clothes (regular T-shirt, jeans, pants, and closed-toed shoes)

Certifications/licenses (required): Maricopa County, Food Handler Certificate
