Want to hold a leadership position at a youth-led organization that makes an international impact on kids with cancer? Start a chapter in your school, region, or state for Cancer Kids First! Benefits of starting a CKF chapter include: 1) Impress colleges/companies with your ability to efficiently lead and manage a team, 2) Help ease the difficult childhoods of pediatric cancer patients, 3) Earn numerous hours of service 4) Improve your leadership, organizational, and communication skills, 5) Gain the opportunity to connect with new people.
Though there are many benefits to starting a CKF chapter, keep in mind that you must be organized and committed to start and maintain a successful chapter. Time and hard work will need to be put into this, but your efforts will pay off! This is a great opportunity if you love to lead and help others.
In case you didn't know what a chapter is, a chapter is a branch off of an organization. While the chapter works towards the same goals as the bigger organization, they operate on a smaller level.

Mission Statement
Cancer Kids First (CKF) aims to help pediatric cancer patients experience a better childhood. We supply patients with toy and book donations, cards, coloring pages, care packages, and more. We strive to normalize the hospital environment, inspire patients to keep fighting, and spark some joy within their lives through our many programs. Join us in putting kids with cancer first.

Since its founding 1 year ago, Cancer Kids First, a youth-led organization, has donated over 670 toys/books to hospitals and individual pediatric cancer patients, raised over $4k, and mailed 350+ cards to cancer hospitals throughout the US - and we're only getting started! We have also been featured in news publications such as ThriveGlobal and Medium.

- Must be at least 13
- To lead a successful chapter, the time commitment is well over 30 hours throughout a year. That being said, this is a LEADERSHIP POSITION and a great opportunity to show off your management skills to potential colleges/jobs!
- You MUST 1) be able to efficiently lead a team, 2) have good organizational and communication skills, 3) have ideas on how you can expand/get others to join your chapter, 4) be dedicated to the CKF mission and organization
