ORGANIZATION: Vidare

Based in Texas, Vidare is a non-profit organisation created to support the advancement of other non-profits through technology. We are looking for remote outreach volunteers for our current project, TexasMasks, a directory of Texas organisations that are in need of mask donations.

[Update 04/13/2021] We have expanded this project to now span across all donation based organisations such as food banks, clothing banks, homeless shelters, etc... This means we will be reaching out to all organisation like those given as an example to expand the directory to include more locations to donate to.

We are looking for volunteers who can:
- connect organisations in need of masks to the TexasMasks based expanded directory
- recruit volunteers and/or organisations to donate supplies to those listed in the directory
- commit at least 4 hours per week to volunteer duties
- engage in new projects as they develop

Volunteering for Vidare's TexasMasks project is a great opportunity to give back to the community, bolster the resources of frontline workers, and advance personal leadership and communication skills! In addition, volunteers have leadership mobility as they will be the very first individuals considered for new leadership positions.
