Qualitications; Good customer service skills required. Prior retail experience not required. Must be at least 18 years old. Must pass background check.
Commitment; 5+ hours per month, depending on specific commitment. Negotiable on a monthly basis. AM shift is 9:30 - 2:30, PM is 2:00 - 7:30.

Description
Spencer Pride was founded in 2007 as a support organization for the rural LGBTQ+ community. In 2016 we were able to open a commUnity center in downtown Spencer. We have a youth group, Iris, who hosted their first alternative prom in 2019. We operate a retail space, supporting local artists. We offer health and wellness programming, educational events, free internet, and a space for other non-profits in the community to meet. All of this, in addition to supporting the LGBTQ+ community in person, virtually and by providing a resource list for additional support. We are all volunteer run.
