IN NEED OF A GRANT WRITER

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in research grants and those wanting to write proposals. We will accept college interns needing credits and hours; if you have experience writing grant proposals or want to help out those who are domestically abused, human and sex trafficked, military abuse and sexual assault and require services and a transitional home. We need your help!!

WHO WE ARE:

FFT HELPING OTHERS has been an established organization since 2011 and a 501c3 nonprofit since 2019. We are now ready to see our project come to life with someone's help and require someone to help us with our grant writing and connect here in FLORIDA. We assist women, children, and families in disadvantaged areas, especially those facing domestic violence, human, sex, and labor trafficking and trauma, to find freedom, hope, and holistic help. We collaborate with our community resources to guide families and give them desperately needed support systems.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

This year we are looking to implement our mental health and transitional home program and look for a location, but we need someone to help us with our project in our area. To assist women and children and our disparaging community in Volusia County, Florida. We want to provide programs and services to those affected by DV, IPV, human trafficking, and military violence and help provide services to our communities with no DV shelters or assistance. Your love, support, and guidance can help to lead us to heal many families who have been affected by these critical issues.

And as we continue to support this program in Volusia County, Florida, we can advance to grow other programs in other states in other cities to ensure the safety of many women, teens, children, and families struggling from the exact effects of these same critical issues and provide a haven for them as well.

Please visit www.ffthelpingothers.com to look over who we are.

We will be doing online Zoom meetings and hope to gain your help.

Thank you.

About FFT Helping Others

Location:

331 West New York Avenue, Suite 202, Deland, FL 32724, US

Mission Statement

Assist with counseling, housing and community aid services for women and children affected & inflicted by the issues of Domestic Violence, IPV, and Human & Sexual Trafficking for 6 months. Services we provide Family Advocacy, counseling and soon transitional home access

Description

What do we want?

  • Transitional Home

  • Safe Haven

  • Quality housing

  • Counseling
  • We want to provide 6-month sustainability and turnaround service aid for women and children affected by IPV & DV.

  • Family Advocacy Assistance

How will this help our communities?

  • Due to the number of human trafficking, sex trafficking, and Domestic Violence in Volusia County, we need transitional homes that assist our local area county agencies. Especially our police officers, sheriff's departments, and other county agencies that will alleviate the burden in our community.

  • We would like to one day provide a stay in our transitional home of 6 months rather than the max of 21 days when we acquire our transitional home. This will give us time for healthy mental assessment & aid, group psychological help, and on-the-job training and parental support.

  • Most victims who feel supported in a life group setting or getting help from a supportive therapist, counselor, or coach are viably more independent and financially stable and are less likely to return to their abuser. And will feel safer rather than those who have no safety of financial or emotional support.
