Caris Healthcare

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 3 people are interested

Patient Care Volunteers are needed in all areas of the Tri-Cities Tennessee. Patients live in private homes and nursing facilities.

Hospice volunteers describe their work as gratifying, intellectually stimulating, and emotionally meaningful.
Caris requires a lot from our volunteers and values them greatly.

Support for patients

This can include visiting, reading, taking walks, writing letters, sharing music, reminiscing, and most importantly just being present and supportive in the moment.

Respite and support for family members
Volunteers can assist with shopping or light household maintenance, or allow family caregivers the opportunity to take care of necessary errands, exercise, or simply have some time alone. Volunteers can also help care for a family pet.
