Cancer Support Community Arizona

CSCAZ is a 501c3 non-profit that provides 100% free programming to all those impacted by cancer. The VIRTUAL Zumba instructor leads aerobics classes taking moves and formulas of the Zumba style and applying them to music to choreography routines that help with building muscles, and toning and improving cardiovascular health. Responsibilities and Tasks:

  1. Create and lead virtual group Zumba classes to individuals in different age groups and at different skill levels
  2. Choreograph routines using Zumba steps
  3. Perform routines so that participants can follow the instructor's lead during classes
  4. Observe participants during routines to offer advice or guidance
  5. Take attendance & provide information about upcoming events
Qualifications:
  1. Zumba Instructor Certification
  2. Physical fitness and Zumba knowledge
  3. Motivational skills - encourage and congratulate
  4. Tech savvy with Zoom

Cancer Support Community Arizona provides the only comprehensive Program of psychosocial services to people diagnosed with cancer and their loved ones in the state of Arizona. Our Program offers Emotional Support Services, Healthy Lifestyle Activities, Educational Seminars, Social Connections and Resources and Referral. Our services are evidence-based, professionally facilitated and provided at no cost to our participants. Through participation in our Program, people affected by cancer learn vital skills that enable them to regain control, reduce isolation and restore hope regardless of the stage of disease.

  • Must be at least 18
  • Orientation or Training
  • Fridays - One hour, 15 minutes per week. Some flexibility with setting time on Friday.
  • Zumba Instructor Certification, Physical Fitness and Zumba knowledge, Zoom savvy, motivational skills
