If you are someone who wants to make a difference during COVID-19, volunteer at MayView Community Health Center, a member of Ravenswood Family Health Network. You can help conduct symptom screening for patients and visitors at our front entrances. Screening involves asking patients questions about their symptoms and exposure and taking temperatures. This important task helps reduce the risk of COVID in our clinics.
Qualifications:
- We are looking for volunteers 18 years or older
- can commit to 8 hours per week (can do 2 four-hour shifts, or 1 eight-hour shift) for 6-10 weeks
- wear a mask
- be available between the hours of 8 am and 7 pm, Monday through Saturday for volunteering at Ravenswood
- Spanish language skills strongly preferred

We welcome persons with Medi-Cal, Healthy Families, Healthy Kids, Medicare, Private insurance as well as those who have no insurance, especially if you are low income. As a multi-cultural community health center, our goal is to provide excellent heath services and to eliminate cultural and language barriers to health by providing bilingual medical staff and health education services.
