Many young people go through life without the added support of a mentor and are more likely to drop out of high school.
Through the Take Stock in Children Scholarship Program, students are paired with a caring adult mentor who meets with them regularly at school or through virtual platforms. There are many ways to promote student success. Take Stock in Children seeks mentors to inspire and guide young minds. A few hours a month can make a huge difference in a child’s life. It's easy to become a mentor! If you are interested in mentoring a high school student in the TSIC program, please visit our website https://irsc.edu/take-stock-in-children/become-a-mentor.html to complete the Volunteer Mentor Application, and someone will be in contact with you.
