LEAD A SOCIAL IMPACT PROJECT
YCore is now searching for Project Leads to lead a project with a nonprofit in their local city. YCore is a social impact program for young professionals. Impact your community, gain hands-on nonprofit experience, expand your network and build your impact toolbox-all outside of work.
You are right for this position if you...
- Can take initiative and are excited to help us build out this program in their community
- Know your city well, and have ideas for recruitment as well as nonprofits we can reach out to.
- Want to be part of a 500+ community
You will...
- Partner with a local nonprofit to identify and scope a strategically significant, capacity-building project
- Lead a team of 3-4 peers as they execute the project over the course of 4 months.
- Grow your project management and leadership skills.
- Build strong relationships in the nonprofit sector and join a lifelong community of like-minded changemakers and friends.
- Learn fundraising by meeting a $2000 financial commitment to YCore. We give you all the tools to succeed; no previous experience necessary.
Time Commitment
- 1-2 hrs/week for the 3-month scoping period
- 5 hrs/week for the 4-month project period including bi-weekly project lead check-ins
Duration: October 20th 2021 - July 2022

Description
We know young professionals (aged 23-35) want to make an impact-now. In our four-month, after-work program, young professionals gain the tools to become champions for their local community. They complete a project with a local nonprofit; build skills like design thinking and fundraising; learn from industry leaders and join a robust community of changemakers.
