Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Volunteer Coordinator to join our team to help support daughters of incarcerated mothers. As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating our team of volunteers, ensuring their smooth integration into our organization and maximizing their impact. Your role will involve recruiting, training, and supervising volunteers, as well as developing and maintaining volunteer programs.

Responsibilities:
- Recruit, screen, and interview volunteers to ensure they align with our organization’s mission and values
- Develop and implement effective volunteer recruitment strategies, including outreach to community organizations, schools, and online platforms
- Conduct comprehensive volunteer orientations and training sessions to ensure volunteers are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills
-Plan volunteer appreciation programs and recognition awards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in volunteer management or coordination preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage and motivate volunteers
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and individuals
- Proficient in using volunteer management software or databases
- Passion for community engagement and making a positive impact through volunteering
