We are a non-profit organization building an infrastructure to develop, manufacture, distribute and operate remote-controlled ventilators and oxygen concentrators that will also gather high-resolution treatment data for scientific research and treatment optimization.
We are now in need of funding to cover our organizational and prototyping costs and want to create a platform.
We, therefore, are looking for a volunteer with experience in social media management. Graphic designers/artists design graphics for use in media products such as magazines, labels, advertising and signage. Typical activities include:
managing proposals from typesetting through to design, print and production
working with the manager, briefing and advising them with regard to design style, format, print production and timescales
developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos and websites
determining size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size
preparing rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief
reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required
Should be able to do atleast 3 posts per week
Should be able to create video content
Graphic designers work have flexible hours. Opportunities for graphic designers can help from home.
Qualifications and training required:
You will need entry level work experience and a portfolio of work to show managers. This can be obtained through internships and holiday work. Knowledge of design software, such as Quark Xpress, InDesign or Illustrator, plus photo-editing software such as PhotoShop.

We are a non-profit organization building an infrastructure to develop, manufacture, distribute and operate remote-controlled ventilators and oxygen concentrators that will also gather high-resolution treatment data for scientific research and treatment optimization. Our equipment will be distributed on a "what you can pay" basis. Our Ventilator is different from other Ventilators in that it will provide the doctors with powerful automation infrastructure and be fully controllable over the Internet, with the medical professional observing the patient over a phone camera, thus reducing viral load on the medical professionals at the front line, enabling those in stable countries to help and allowing one doctor to have an overview over many patients.
Given the rapidly deteriorating situation in India, we are currently focusing our efforts on the development of a low-cost, high-efficiency oxygen concentrator but are continuing our ventilator development as well.
Our Ventilator is now undergoing some changes that are required for medical compliance in our target countries. Parts cost for a single unit are US$300 but will drop in mass production and bulk ordering maybe even down to US$200. The oxygen concentrator is estimated to cost between US$150 - US$200
