Hospital: Auxiliary and Gray Ladies
Medical Center uses volunteer to provide welcome services, answer phones, help with day surgery check-in, work in the gift shop and with patient services such as delivering mail, flowers, books, juice, etc.
Volunteers must take Red Cross training for patient services given by Gray Ladies. These volunteers work from 6:30am to approx. 10:30am each morning. A uniform is required and must be purchased at the volunteers expense.
Welcome desk, gift shop and check-in volunteers must become part of the hospital auxiliary. This requires a nominal fee each year and the purchase of a smock to wear while on duty.
Terms: Site is handicapped accessible, Volunteer must be at least 55 years of age

The Marshall County Retired and Senior Volunteer Program enables men and women to contribute to their communities through volunteer service which enhances the lives of the volunteers and those whom they serve and provides communities with valuable services.
Description
County-wide organization that orients, places, recognizes and trains volunteers to work in the county with various public and non-profit agencies, schools, hospitals, etc. Volunteers can work a much or as little as they have the time. Volunteers are placed based on interest and date they are available.
