Career Exploration
My Girlfriend's House, Inc
We are a leadership program for teen girls and we are currently talking to our girls about different career opportunities and how to gear their education towards their desired path.
During the month of May, on Saturdays, we are looking for companies with more then 10 employees that are willing to let our students come do a tour of your workspace and learn more about your career and what your educational path looked like. The students will also want to know how to get in that field and it would be amazing if you could also integrate a hands-on activity to give them an idea of what it's like to work in your industry.
If you know a business who meets this criteria, please help us out by referring this request to them. And if you are with a company that can assist us with this need in the month of May, please let us know. Thank you in advance!

As an organization of professional women, our mission is to improve the lives of the middle and high school teen girls we mentor with personal care items, school supplies and clothing and to prepare them for the adult/working world with mentoring, internship and college scholarship assistance.

My Girlfriend’s House, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization of professional women dedicated to both community service and friendship.
We work to improve the lives of at-risk middle and high school young ladies in Maryland, Virginia and D.C., with personal care items, school supplies and clothing, and helps them prepare for adulthood and the workplace with scholarships, mentoring and internship opportunities.
