If you prefer to help behind the scenes, the regional RC Care team may be for you! You can make a difference in 2021 by supporting volunteers on the front line, ensuring we serve clients effectively, and maintaining excellent stewardship of donor dollars.
The following volunteer opportunities are available:
Reviewing documents on the computer (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday shifts available); or
Calling dispatch centers to verify events (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday shifts available); or
Working with Excel, Salesforce, and email (1-2 hours per shift, flexible); or
Entering new disaster events into computer system and editing damage information (1 week on-call shift per month)
Volunteers interested in any of the above positions should be detail-oriented, comfortable working on a computer and learning new systems, have internet access, be reliable and able to work independently. All training is provided free of charge.
