During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Quick Overview: Working with Bridge to Home staff, Housing Corps members help homeless clients move from homelessness to permanent housing through meaningful resource support and impactful connections with community members.
Impact: When clients can get assistance filling out their basic paperwork for necessary housing requirements and build meaningful relationships with volunteers in the process, it removes barriers giving Case Managers time to see more clients. In addition, volunteers become a trusted resource for clients, rebuilding connections between clients and community members. This also helps close the socioeconomic gap between homeless clients and the stigma attached to that circumstance.

Check in with clients for in-office appointments and following up on progress.
Ensure clients have access or knowledge of essential community resources.
Assists in organizing and completing client files.
Engage with Bridge to Home clients to work on building meaningful connections that will establish trust.
