Team Recruitment Chair Help end Alzheimer's. Become a community leader for the Walk to End Alzheimer's Roseburg by joining the Team Recruitment Committee. Skills: Project Management, Relationship Management, Talent Development, Communications, Event Planning Good For: People who are passionate about the fight against Alzheimer's and all dementia. Requirements: You love meeting new people and empowering others. You aren't afraid to ask others to join the cause. Alzheimer's isn't stopping. Neither are we. Planning the Walk to End Alzheimer's is a great way to grow your management skills and make a big community impact in a passionate, relentless nonprofit setting. Each year, dozens of volunteers, like you, plan eight Walk to End Alzheimer's events in Oregon & SW Washington to raise critical funds for Alzheimer's disease research, care & support programs, and policy work at the state and federal levels. Your work will support the 5.8 million Americans living with Alzheimer's and the millions more that love, support and care for them. Recruitment Committee - The Networker Your role on the Team Recruitment Committee will be to generate excitement and recruit new teams for Walk to End Alzheimer's Roseburg. You will use event planning skills to plan and execute the Corporate Team Kickoff and you'll coach new team captains. Description

The Alzheimer’s Association Oregon & SW Washington Chapter is part of the Alzheimer’s Association, the world's leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research. From its offices in Portland, Bend and Medford, the Oregon Chapter provides education and support for people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, as well as their families and caregivers. In addition, it offers local support groups, early-stage engagement programs, community education classes and a 24/7 Helpline (800-272-3900).
