Event Chair
Alzheimer's isn't stopping. Neither are we. Planning the Walk to End Alzheimer's is a great way to grow your management skills and make a big community impact in a passionate, relentless nonprofit setting. Each year, dozens of volunteers, like you, plan eight Walk to End Alzheimer's events in Oregon & SW Washington to raise critical funds for Alzheimer's disease research, care & support programs, and policy work at the state and federal levels. Your work will support the 5.8 million Americans living with Alzheimer's and the millions more that love, support and care for them. Volunteer Committee Chair - The Executive Your role as Committee Chair will be to lead and inspire a relentless team of subcommittee members in the planning and execution of Walk to End Alzheimer's Mid-Willamette. Your team will engage event sponsors, recruit new teams, retain existing teams, market and promote, recruit advocacy volunteers, and connect communities. Are you a passionate and empathic leader looking to make a difference? Get started at alz.org/walk and contact jeosojnicki@alz.org to sign up or to learn more. Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research.
