Havok's Wolfpack

We are a dog rescue based out of Boulder, Colorado called Havok's Wolfpack. We are looking to connect the areas of Clovis and Portales, New Mexico with our rescue. We are not affiliated with the municipal shelters in either town.

We need help in evaluating dogs in the shelter, connecting them with vet appointments and helping transport them to the local airports. We primarily use a volunteer pilot network to transport animals.

Must Haves:

  • Must have a good understanding of animal care.
  • Must represent the core values of Havok's Wolfpack: active, outdoorsy, healthy...
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to work well in challenging environments.
  • Must have good time management skills.

As Manager, you will:

  • Work closely with the Director to coordinate vet appointments, transportation, local meetings, and any unexpected challenges.

About Havok's Wolfpack

Mission Statement

"More than a rescue; a family for life." Advocates for the Paleo lifestyle and affordable vet care.

Havok's Wolfpack is a non-profit dog rescue based in Denver, Colorado. We are advocates for affordable vet care and Paleo lifestyle for furry companions.

After our own Havok tore his ACL and the only option was a $3,500 bill paid upfront, we sought to find a solution for dog lovers everywhere who have to choose between keeping their dog in good health and money. The idea started to bloom... and then Havok tore his second ACL. We knew it was time to make our idea more than an idea.

Our long-term goal is to start our own vet clinic that offers affordable services because we believe that health care is a human - and dog - right.

Currently, we are coordinating plans to go international and help rescue dogs out of Serbia. In 2017, we plan to establish a second HQ in Italy.

We are grateful for our amazing fosters, and without them, we couldn't save the dogs that need our help. As a thank you, if you choose to be a long-term foster with us, you get free pet insurance for your own pooch. It's the least we can do so that you don't have to go what we went through with Havok, while we're building the funds to start our own clinc.

We'll work with your schedule.
