SCOPE OF WORK:
The IRC Wichita Youth Program is focusing on preparing refugee youth who arrived within two years to succeed at their grade level in the Wichita public school system and support their social emotional well-being. Youth Program volunteers are expected to collaborate with IRC Program Coordinator to lead the program with other volunteers, work with refugee students, navigate them to reach out their goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate directly with Program Coordinator to lead program activities (twice a week);
- Assist in tracking attendance and recording activities and students’ individual progress on their goals;
- Attend trainings and meetings to understand programs and IRC policies
