The Community Health Center seeks to recruit volunteers for the position of "Support Volunteer". These volunteers will assist the Community Health Center by preparing materials for community events and providing various support roles for those events. Sample activities include assisting with food drives, homeless outreach, and HIV PrEP outreach.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Included but not limited to)
- Organizing donations; counting inventory; assembling outreach materials
- Delivering materials to CHC sites
- Help with set-up and breakdown of outreach events
- Volunteering with CHC at community organizations, such as soup kitchens.
- Providing outreach materials to event attendees
- Communication with community members
- Non-clinical support at Covid-19 vaccination clinics
There may be opportunities throughout the state. This position is a non-clinical position that will support operations such as greeting and wayfinding of patients, registration support including data entry, supply tracking, set-up and take-down of pop up clinics, and other tasks as assigned. This is an ideal position for an individual seeking to help in a meaningful way during the COVID pandemic, and gain experience in a community health project.

Community Health Center, Inc.
