Letter Writing Volunteer
Community Health Centers, Inc.
Let our healthcare heroes know they are valued! It’s as simple as writing a letter to let our COVID testing staff know their hard work is appreciated. This program is done completely remote, making it an ideal opportunity for older adults, young kids, and other high risk folks who want to give back while staying safe. Join us on Zoom for 1 hour biweekly to connect with fellow community members as we go over letter ideas, share stories, hear from guest speakers, and provide Covid-19 education. Letters will be mailed or dropped off to 33 Ferry Street in Middletown CT, where our team will distribute them to the healthcare workers fighting the pandemic at our many Covid-19 testing sites.

CHC is building a world class primary health care system, that is committed to caring for special populations, and that is focused on improving health outcomes for our patients as well as building healthy communities.
Since 1972, CHC has been one of the leading health-care providers in the state of Connecticut, providing comprehensive primary care services in medicine, dentistry, and behavioral health. The CHC Programs are available to all, but have a special commitment to the uninsured, underinsured, and special populations such as patients with HIV/AIDS. CHC is a statewide, independent, private non-profit organization. Last year, we provided high-quality medical, dental and behavioral health services to patients living in nearly every Connecticut city and town. With 130,000 active patients, CHC, Inc. is the health care home that works to keep our patients--and our communities--healthy. We incorporate prevention and health promotion, treatment of illness, and management of chronic disease--often all during the same visit. But CHC goes beyond the traditional health services to bring care wherever you are, using innovative service delivery models and state of the art technology. Health care is a right, not a privilege.
