Little Tokyo Service Center, a Community Development Corporation
LT Eats partners with small businesses in Little Tokyo to provide discounted hot meals for low-income seniors, while still supporting the businesses with normal operating costs, in Little Tokyo 3x a week (M/W/F). This program has been in action since April 2020. Volunteers meet at Little Tokyo Service Center where they are temperature checked and provided with face masks (if needed) and gloves. Volunteers will walk to one of the various buildings the program delivers to, where each volunteer will receive a number of hot meals from one of the restaurants participating to deliver to the seniors.
This volunteer opportunity happens on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3:30-5.

Little Tokyo Service Center CDC has been a leading organization in the community in preservation of Little Tokyo and other neighborhoods. LTSC CDC is embarking in providing civic participation opportunities to volunteers and to engage in community work with hands on experience while empowering our residents though civic engagement. LTSC CDC is diverse in projects and is an excellent place to really interact with diverse communities.
