Have you always wanted to be a part of something fantastic and rewarding? At FIBCO we feed the food insecure and are looking for a consistent volunteer to help out on Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to around noon. We need someone dedicated to the cause that does not mind some driving with their large-ish vehicle and is able to lift about 50 lbs. It is a physically intensive job, great if you want or need some exercise. We would meet at St. Mary's, do some shopping, sometimes shop at Restaurant Depot or Walmart too, and head back to our base location on Jefferson to unload the food and assemble them into food boxes. We have our distributions every other Friday's at various locations. If you want to come to those you are more than welcome to.
