Rise of Broken Women is looking for volunteers interested in boosting the organization's social media presence. The volunteers will develop and implement social media strategies that build brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, bring in donations, and attract potential patrons to the organization's website. This volunteer will also implement a content calendar to manage content and plan timely marketing campaigns.
Together we can help women and their families extricate themselves from the cycle of poverty.

Rise of Broken Women is a multicultural nonprofit organization dedicated to helping women and their families extricate themselves from the cycle of poverty.

Description

Rise of Broken Women is built on our vast network of volunteers who enable us to distribute basic necessities to women and families in over 98 homeless shelters and low-income communities throughout the five boroughs of New York City. We have distributed menstrual products, toiletries, winter coats, socks, under garments, school supplies, and toys to over 15,000 people within our community. We also work to educate the non-poverty-stricken New York City community on issues facing homeless and low-income families so that they become inspired to help these families out of their poverty-stricken circumstances. Understanding is the key to empathizing and taking action.
