Rise of Broken Women is looking for a volunteer that can articulate its key message with compelling marketing & communications materials. Volunteer will be asked to write compelling marketing or communications materials like brochures, blog posts, one-pagers, fact sheets, fundraising materials, and promotional materials. All content will be consistent with the organization's brand identity, public relations strategy, and communications objectives.
Together, we can help women and their families extricate themselves from the cycle of poverty.

Description
Rise of Broken Women is built on our vast network of volunteers who enable us to distribute basic necessities to women and families in over 98 homeless shelters and low-income communities throughout the five boroughs of New York City. We have distributed menstrual products, toiletries, winter coats, socks, under garments, school supplies, and toys to over 15,000 people within our community. We also work to educate the non-poverty-stricken New York City community on issues facing homeless and low-income families so that they become inspired to help these families out of their poverty-stricken circumstances. Understanding is the key to empathizing and taking action.
