Description
Seeking Hospice Volunteers - Volunteers are at the center of everything we do and are vital hospice staff team members. Typically, our volunteers provide administrative and patient-related, non-medical services to caregivers and patients in their final weeks of life.
Some volunteers choose to do caregiver and patient visits, provide respite care, make phone calls, or work in the office. Others choose to read stories, run errands, share special talents, and create keepsakes for family. Our patients who are veterans are always appreciative of visits from other veterans, but really, the sky is the limit in terms of what our volunteers contribute in terms of time, talent, and resources. - Transportation required, must have valid driver's license with current auto insurance. Must have COVID-19 vaccination or valid exemption (medical or religious). TB 2-step required (company provided).
