Each month 1 Million Cups- Grand Forks is an educational program designed to engage, educate, and accelerate communities of entrepreneurs. Each month two startups/entrepreneurs share their story on stage and talk about the struggles, successes, joys, and pains of being a business owner from the ground up.

Time required per month- 3 hours

  • The committee meets virtually online monthly for an hour to discuss recruitment and work on lining up presenters for the 1 Million Cups events.
  • An additional 2 hours is needed to reach out to potential speakers, gather headshots, bios, and attend the monthly 1 Million Cups- Grand Forks events.

Established in 2017 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Evolve and The 701 Coworking space set out to offer entrepreneur programs and affordable office space for start-ups and budding businesses in the region. The 701 Coworking space is home to many of the areas business owners and offers a convenient location to work remotely or as a team. Evolve Grand Forks currently offers many programs to assist entrepreneurs to successfully launch their business, some of which include: Main Street Grand Forks; Dakno Gaming; 1 Million Cups Grand Forks; and DroneBiz. Evolve Grand Forks is an integral piece of the Grand Forks Entrepreneurial Ecosystem.
