Divided We Fall(r) is a non-profit news publication working to provide bipartisan dialogue for the politically engaged. We publish curated debates, interviews, and op-eds between individuals who disagree in order to demonstrate productive civil discourse and bipartisanship.
We are looking to bring on a social media manager to help us build brand awareness and reader engagement! This position would draft the organization’s social media strategy, manage our social media accounts and grow our online presence. This position would work to build on the initial successes (700,000+ site visitors per month, 800 Mailchimp subscribers, 2,000 Twitter followers, 400 Facebook likes) while also expanding our presence (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc).
The social media manager will work under the supervision of the Director of Communications. Experiencing working across multiple departments and functions is necessary for success.
Divided We Fall is a non-profit news publication that is creating the 21st century "arena of ideas." We produce debates, discussions, and op-eds from authors across the political spectrum and publish this curated content to an ideologically diverse audience. Through these efforts, we are building a growing community of readers across the political spectrum in order to restore civility and bipartisanship to our politics.
Divided We Fall is an early-stage non-profit that is growing rapidly. We gets over 100,000 site visitors per month, representing 100x YoY growth. We received $10,000 per month from the Google Ad Grants program and are working to raise grant funding. We are looking for volunteers to assist with partnerships, fundraising, editing, and communications.
