During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Are you a Veteran who is looking to give back to a different generation of Veterans? We invite you to help Kindred Hospice to honor our military veterans who are on hospice care. They have served and given so much of themselves for our freedom and now they need someone who will give of their time, companionship, and or talents.
Many of our veterans live in nursing homes which makes it convenient to spend time with more than one each visit. If you have a heart for those who have served, please join our Volunteer team as we organize visits and take care of those who have taken care of our blessed United States. The time could be as little as an hour a month or a weekly endeavored, whatever works best for you. We have opportunities in the areas of Quincy, Braintree, Milton as well as Walpole, Norwood and Medfield and some others throughout the region.
For more information or to sign up, please contact William Russell, Volunteer Coordinator, at William.Russell@kindredhospicecare.com or at 617-332-0813
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.

To provide hope, alleviate pain and suffering providing an environment of support, recognizing and respecting the uniqueness of our patients and family in their journey.
Hospice is a medical specialty dedicated to the support and care of persons with limited life expectancies so that they may live as fully and comfortably as possible. The hospice philosophy focuses on maintaining the quality of the patient’s life. With its dedicated team of interdisciplinary health care professionals and volunteers, Kindred Hospice provides caring support for the patient and their family.
Volunteers are an integral part of the hospice philosophy. Hospice volunteers are there to hold a hand and listen, read or write a letter, run errands or even help out in our office. Volunteers are there to step in when a family member needs a break, and are there for the family and friends after their loved one has passed away. No matter what your skills, talents or motivation, we have the opportunity for you to help.
We'll work with your schedule.
